Sunisa Lee is an American artistic gymnast who won the all-around gold and uneven bars bronze at the 2020 Olympics, and a silver on floor and bronze on uneven bars at the 2019 World Championships. Lee was part of the gold-winning team at the 2019 World Championships and the silver-winning team at the 2020 Olympics.
Lee is the first Hmong-American Olympian and the first Asian American woman to win the Olympic all-around title. She is a six-time member of the U.S. women’s national gymnastics team and has six world championships and Olympic medals.

By age 12, Suni Lee had reached the highest level of USA Gymnastics’ women’s development program. After a strong performance at a camp, she joined the U.S. junior national team. In 2017, she helped the team win gold at the Gymnix International Junior Cup in Montreal and earned a silver on the uneven bars.
In 2018, she won gold in the uneven bars at the U.S. National Championships and helped the junior national team win gold at the Pacific Rim Championships in Colombia. As a senior elite gymnast, Lee excelled at the 2019 U.S. national championships. She won silver in the all-around, gold in the uneven bars, and bronze in the floor exercise.
She was then selected for the U.S. team at the 2019 World Championships in Germany, where the team won its fifth straight world title. Lee also won silver in the floor exercise and bronze in the uneven bars.
