Lee Kiefer is an American right-handed foil fencer and two-time Olympic champion in women’s foil and won the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics. She is the most decorated women’s foil fencer in American history.

Kiefer is a four-time NCAA champion, 12-time team Pan American champion, thirteen-time individual Pan American champion, and 2018 team world champion. She has competed in four Olympics: 2012 in London, 2016 in Rio, 2020 in Tokyo, and 2024 in Paris. Kiefer is the first American to win an individual Olympic gold medal in foil fencing.

Kiefer won a bronze medal in women’s foil at the 2011 World Fencing Championships and placed 5th at the 2012 London Olympic Games. She won a silver medal at the Saint-Maur World Cup in the 2014–15 season and later won the Algiers World Cup in 2015. She was part of the Notre Dame trio, along with Gerek Meinhardt and Emma Reaney, who were named individual national champions in 2014.

On March 18, 2017, Kiefer became the first American woman to be ranked #1 in the FIE world rankings. She competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, held in 2021, and won gold in the individual foil, defeating Inna Deriglazova.
