Pittsburgh Pirates:

The Pittsburgh Pirates picked Tucker in the first round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. He signed on June 12, 2014, with a 1.8 million dollar signing bonus. Tucker started with the Gulf Coast League Pirates in 2014. He originally planned to play college baseball for the Arizona Wildcats.

In 2015, Tucker played for the West Virginia Power and returned to the Power in 2016 and then moved to the Bradenton Marauders, hitting .242 with two home runs and 27 RBIs between both teams. In 2017, he started with Bradenton and was promoted to the Altoona Curve in July, ending the season with a .275 average, six home runs, 50 RBIs, and 47 stolen bases in 110 games.

The Pirates added Tucker to their 40-man roster after the season. In 2019, he started with the Indianapolis Indians and was called up to the major leagues on April 20. In his debut game, he hit his first major league home run against the San Francisco Giants. The Pirates sent him back to Indianapolis in June.

In 2020, Tucker played as an outfielder for the Pirates. He started the 2021 season in Indianapolis, played 13 games for the Pirates in May and July, and another 30 games after being recalled in August. In 2022, Tucker played 18 games for the Pirates at second base, shortstop, and right field, hitting .175 before being sent back to Indianapolis.

On June 5, 2022, the Arizona Diamondbacks claimed Tucker off waivers and sent him to the Reno Aces in Triple-A. On July 8, he was outrighted by the Diamondbacks and chose free agency after the 2022 season.

In December 2022, Tucker signed a minor league deal with the Colorado Rockies. He started the 2023 season with the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes. In August 2023, the Rockies added him to the major league roster.
