Lamb attended John and Randolph Foster High School in Richmond, Texas, where he played football. As a junior, he made 57 receptions for 1,082 yards and 11 touchdowns.

College Career
Freshman Year (2017):
Lamb played at Oklahoma with quarterback Baker Mayfield. He played in all 14 games, catching 46 passes for 807 yards and 7 touchdowns. He also set school records for freshmen with 9 catches for 147 yards in a game and tied for touchdowns in a season. After the season, Lamb was named Freshman All-American by ESPN.
Sophomore Year (2018):
CeeDee played with quarterback Kyler Murray and contributed to a 12–2 record and a playoff appearance. He played in all 14 games, with 65 catches for 1,158 yards and 11 touchdowns, and also served as a punt returner with a 12.8-yard average. Lamb recorded five 100-yard games and helped set a school record with Marquise Brown for 1,000-yard seasons. He had 167 receiving yards in the Big 12 Championship win and 109 yards in the College Football Playoff semifinal.
Junior Year (2019):
CeeDee was named first-team All-American with 62 catches for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns and averaged 21.4 yards per reception. After the season, he was named Most Outstanding Player in the Big 12 Championship with 173 yards. Then, he announced entry into the 2020 NFL Draft after the season.

2020 Season:
Lamb was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys after Signing a 4-year, 14.01 million dollar contract. He debuted with 59 yards against the Rams and had his first 100-yard game against the Falcons and finished his rookie season with 74 catches for 935 yards and 5 touchdowns.
2021 Season:
CeeDee started the season with 104 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers and
finished with 79 catches for 1,102 yards and 6 touchdowns. He was selected to the Pro Bowl and ranked 95th in NFL Top 100 Players of 2022.
2022 Season:
Lamb set career highs with 107 catches for 1,359 yards and 9 touchdowns and was named to the Pro Bowl and AP All-Pro 2nd Team. He also set the record of 10 catches for 117 yards in the Divisional Round against the 49ers.
2023 Season:
