Arch played high school football at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans. As a freshman, he became the starting quarterback, the first to do so in 40 years. Arch Manning Career Journey
In his sophomore year, Arch threw six touchdowns in the season opener. He made his national TV debut in October 2020 and scored two passing and two rushing touchdowns. Manning threw for 169 yards and five touchdowns in one quarter during a game against Cohen. His team reached the semifinals and finished his season with 1,919 passing yards and 21 touchdowns.
Manning started as quarterback again in his junior season. In the first game, he threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns. He had several perfect games, including one where he completed all nine passes for 153 yards and five touchdowns. He ended the season with 1,841 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and six rushing touchdowns.
As a senior, Manning captained the Newman team. He threw for 356 yards and seven touchdowns in a win and broke family records for career passing yards and touchdowns.
Manning played 42 games during his high school career, throwing for 8,539 yards, 115 touchdowns, and 19 interceptions. He also rushed for 748 yards and 19 touchdowns.
