Tyreek Hill is an American football wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League. The Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Hill played college football at Garden City, Oklahoma State, and West Alabama.

Hill was originally a track and field athlete, but he started his NFL career mainly as a return specialist before becoming a wide receiver. Garden City

At Garden City Community College in Kansas, Hill played football and ran track. In his sophomore year in 2013, he rushed for 659 yards and five touchdowns and caught 67 passes for 532 yards for the football team.

Oklahoma State

After Garden City, Hill went to Oklahoma State University, where he debuted on August 30, 2014, against Florida State. On September 25, 2014, he scored his first touchdown against Texas Tech.

On November 1, Hill rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown against Kansas State. His final game for Oklahoma State was on December 6, 2014, where he helped them win against Oklahoma with a 92-yard punt return touchdown.

West Alabama

On September 1, 2015, Hill enrolled at the University of West Alabama and joined the football team. He played as a running back, wide receiver, punt returner, and kick returner, averaging 135 all-purpose yards per game. He had a standout game against Delta State with 307 all-purpose yards.

2016 Season

The Kansas City Chiefs selected Hill in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He was the first player from West Alabama drafted since 1974. The Chiefs signed him to a four-year, 2.58 million dollar contract. Hill started the 2016 season as the Chiefs’ punt returner, kick returner, and fourth wide receiver.

Hill had a notable game in Week 12, scoring a rushing touchdown, receiving touchdown, and kick return touchdown, making him the first player to do so since 1965. He finished his rookie season with 61 receptions for 593 yards and six touchdowns, 267 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns, 384 kick return yards and a touchdown, and 592 punt return yards and two touchdowns.

2017 Season

In 2017, Hill continued to excel, starting the season with a career-high 133 receiving yards against the Patriots. He finished the season with 75 receptions for 1,183 yards and seven touchdowns and earned another Pro Bowl selection.

2018 Season

Hill had a career-high 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2018. He was named to the Pro Bowl and was a First-team All-Pro.

2019 Season

Hill was suspended from team activities in April 2019 due to a child abuse investigation but was not disciplined by the NFL. He signed a three-year, 54 million dollar extension in September. He finished the 2019 season with 860 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Hill helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV, recording nine receptions for 105 yards.

2020 Season

Hill started the 2020 season strong and had a career-high 269 receiving yards in Week 12. He finished the season with 1,276 receiving yards and 15 receiving touchdowns.

2021 Season

Hill started the 2021 season with 197 receiving yards in Week 1. He finished the season with 1,239 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He helped the Chiefs reach the AFC Championship but lost to the Bengals.

2022 Season

Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins in March 2022 and signed a four-year, 120-million-dollar extension. He had a career-high 119 receptions and 1,710 receiving yards in 2022, earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors. He helped the Dolphins reach the playoffs but lost in the Wild Card Round.

2023 Season

Hill started the 2023 season strong with multiple games over 150 receiving yards.
