Sidd attended D.A.V. Boys Senior Secondary School in Chennai and later studied at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Delhi. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi, before pursuing an MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. In 2002, Siddharth began his acting journey with an uncredited role as a bus passenger in the Tamil film “Kannathil Muthamittal”. In 2003, he portrayed the character Munna in the Tamil film “Boys”. In 2004, he played Arjun Balakrishnan in the Tamil film “Aayutha Ezhuthu”. His debut in Telugu cinema began in 2005 with the role of Santosh Prakash in “Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana”.

In 2006, Siddharth took on the dual roles of Arjun and Krishna in the Telugu film “Chukkallo Chandrudu”, where he also contributed as a writer. He also appeared in the Hindi film “Rang De Basanti” as Karan Singhania / Bhagat Singh and in the Telugu film “Bommarillu”. Continuing his Telugu film journey, he portrayed Sri Krishna in “Aata” in 2007.
