Marco Rubio is an American politician and lawyer who has been the senior senator from Florida since 2011. He is a member of the Republican Party and has been announced as the likely choice for Secretary of State.

Marco Rubio’s Political Positions
While in law school, Marco Rubio interned for U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and worked on Senator Bob Dole’s 1996 presidential campaign. In 1998, he was elected as a city commissioner for West Miami. In 2000, Rubio joined the Florida House of Representatives.
