In 2016, Netravalkar played for the North West Region in the USACA National Championship. When the ICC reduced the residency requirement for eligibility from four years to three, he sought more playing opportunities. In a 2017 warm-up match, his impressive performance caught the attention of the US national team coach, Pubudu Dassanayake.

In January 2018, he joined the US national team for the Regional Super50 tournament in the West Indies. He made his List A debut against the Leeward Islands. In August 2018, he was selected for the ICC World Twenty20 Americas Qualifier tournament.

In October 2018, Netravalkar was named captain of the US team for the Regional Super50 tournament and the ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament.
