Mike Vrabel is an American football coach and former linebacker, now head coach of the New England Patriots in the National Football League. Mike played college football at Ohio State earned All-American honors, and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft then he joined the New England Patriots in 2001 won three Super Bowls, and earned First-Team All-Pro recognition. He ended his playing career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010.
Mike coached at Ohio State for three years, then joined the NFL as a linebackers coach and later defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans. Mike Vrabel College Career
Mike Vrabel graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School, where he excelled in football. Then, he attended Ohio State University on a football scholarship, playing as a defensive end from 1993 to 1996. He had standout seasons, recording 12 sacks as a sophomore, 13 as a junior, and 9 with 48 tackles as a senior. In 1995 and 1996, he was named Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year, becoming one of only two players to win the award twice.
